Arrangements for borrowing

Let us know, by email

1. Your name, address and contact details;
2. The name of your group/school etc;
3. The work(s) you would like to borrow (composer, title, number of copies and any other relevant details – e.g. if you require a particular edition);
4. The period for which you would like to borrow the music (allow for some delay in collecting the copies after your performance);
5. Whether you can collect the music from us and, if not, the address to which you would like us to post it.

We will let you know either immediately or within a few days whether we can meet your needs, wholly or partially.

Once your order is confirmed, an invoice will be forwarded to you for the hire charge and postage, which we ask you to pay, if possible, before we dispatch the music.

Our standard hire charges for new bookings from 1st October 2022 (to which postage is added where necessary) are:

• Vocal scores of major choral works (oratorios, masses, cantatas etc.) – Monthly charge: £20 for up to 40 copies, £25 for 41-60 copies, £30 for 61-80 copies, then pro rata
• Vocal scores of part-songs, madrigals etc. – Monthly charge: £8 per set per month for up to 40 copies, £12 per set per month for 41+ copies
• Set of orchestral parts –  £40 for the first month, £20 for each subsequent month

Please note: a returnable deposit may be required for many of our orchestral sets.

These charges may be reduced in exceptional circumstances, e.g. if only a small number of vocal scores are to be hired.

If your choir has choral music it no longer uses or you need storage for, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss adding it to our catalogue.  In that way it will continue to be used.
