Hiring music sets

Let us know, by email

1. Your name, address and contact details
2. The name of your group
3. The work(s) you would like to hire(composer, title, number of copies and any other relevant details – e.g. if you require a particular edition)
4. The period for which you would like to hire the music (allow time after your concert to collect and return the music)
5. Whether you can collect the music from us and, if not, the address to which you would like us to post it

We will let you know either immediately or within a few days whether we can meet your needs, wholly or partially.

Once your order is confirmed, an invoice will be forwarded to you for the hire charge and postage, which we ask you to pay before we dispatch the music.

Our standard hire charges for new requests are:

• Major choral works (oratorios, masses, cantatas etc.):
  Monthly charge: £20 for up to 40 copies, £30 for 41-60 copies, £40 for 61-80 copies, then pro rata
• Part-songs:
  Monthly charge: £10 per set for up to 40 copies, £15 per set for 41-60 copies, £20 per set for 61-80 copies, then pro rata
• Set of orchestral parts – £40 for the first month, £20 for each subsequent month

Please note:

• For requests received from 1 April 2026 there is a £6 request charge for each set that is supplied
• We ask for at least 28 days notice for requests. If less notice is given, a late booking fee may be charged
• Postage charges will be added if you want the music sent to you
• A returnable deposit may be required for some of our orchestral sets
