. . . to Ecclesiastical Insurance for two welcome donations allowing the purchase of new music and assisting with core costs. (This was the result of CYM Library entering and winning prizes from their lotteries)
. . . to the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation whose grant in previous years, has helped fund the services of our professional music librarian, volunteer team and running costs.
. . . to the Finzi Friends for two grants to enable us to increase our holdings of the music of Gerald Finzi, one of the major British composers of the twentieth century.

. . . to Tony Lynes, who spent nearly 25 years ensuring the continuation of the Library after the abolition of ILEA, and who was the brains behind the move to secure the library’s future as a charitable company. Tony acted as CYM’s librarian until 2013, frequently in a voluntary capacity, and only retired as a trustee in June 2014. Sadly Tony died in October 2014 aged 85, leaving as his legacy a flourishing library that truly is a national resource and able to serve the music community throughout the United Kingdom.
